Welcome to the Blog

Posted in Site News on 18 Dec 2008 at 1:33 p.m.

Welcome to our new Blog on PredictMarkets.

Things have been quite busy here at PredictMarkets HQ. We've been working behind the scenes, making some tweaks, extracting the junk, and crowbarring-in some new features. We hope you like what we've done with it.

For the uninitiated, here's a quick overview of some of the improvements we've made:

  • short selling: no need to buy bundles now - just short it!
  • new leaderboard features: Weekly Gain and Most Active, along with the usual Net Worth figures
  • new range of market categories: we hope we have something for everyone
  • new orderbook format: this makes placing orders and trading a lot slicker
  • new Account section: check out and change your details if needed
  • re-arranged nav bars for improved navigation
  • new Blog: get on there and have your say
  • updated About section, including FAQs

There's plenty we've changed behind the scenes as well, and although you won't see that stuff, we're sure it'll help make things easier and more fun for you guys.

So have a look around, try it out, and let us know what you think. And if you're new to PredictMarkets, get yourself registered and get amongst it.
